Who is involved in the project?

This project is being developed by members of the Environmental Horticulture Group in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science at The Ohio State University.

Three faculty Pablo Jourdan, Michael Knee and Tim Rhodus are working with the coordinator of the OSU Chadwick Arboretum, Janet Oberliesen.

Through projects like "A sense of place" the Environmental Horticulture Group is bringing together the traditionally separate functions of research, classroom and outreach education.

We would like the Arboretum to become a place where students can gain horticultural expertise as they work with faculty on experimental landscapes and the same areas can serve as demonstrations of landscape concepts for extension horticulturalists and the general public.
